What makes bamboo better for my baby? Bamboo fibre is naturally smoother and rounder than cotton, making it incredibly soft against delicate newborn skin. It's breathable, hypoallergenic, and thermo-regulating — keeping your baby warm on cool nights and comfortable on milder days. It's also naturally moisture-wicking, helping little ones stay dry and fresh for longer.

Is bamboo safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin? Yes. Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic and gentle, which makes it a wonderful choice for babies with sensitive, reactive, or eczema-prone skin. Our fabrics are made without harsh chemicals so they're kind to even the most delicate skin.

What is your fabric made of? Our pieces are crafted from a premium bamboo viscose blend, chosen for its softness, breathability, and stretch. The exact composition is listed on each product page and on the garment label.

Sizing & Fit

How do I choose the right size? Each product page includes a detailed size guide with measurements by age and weight. If your baby is between sizes, we recommend sizing up — bamboo has a gentle stretch and a little room means longer wear.

Will the clothes shrink after washing? When cared for as directed (cool wash, low or no heat drying), shrinkage is minimal. We pre-account for natural fibre movement in our sizing.

Personalisation

Can I add my baby's name? Yes! Many of our designs are personalisation-ready. You can add your baby's name with custom embroidery — simply choose a personalise-ready style, enter the name, and select your thread colour at checkout.

How long does personalisation take? Personalised pieces are made to order, so please allow a few extra business days for embroidery before dispatch. The estimated timeframe is shown at checkout.

Can personalised items be returned? As personalised items are made just for you, they can't be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Please double-check the spelling before placing your order.

Care Instructions

How do I wash Joey Bamboo pieces? Machine wash cold or warm (up to 30°C) on a gentle cycle with like colours. Tumble dry on low or, ideally, hang to dry to keep the fabric soft and long-lasting. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can coat the fibres and reduce breathability.

Will the colours fade? Washing in cold water and drying out of direct sunlight will keep colours looking rich and fresh for longer.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship? We ship across Australia and New Zealand. Shipping options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

How long will my order take to arrive? Standard orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Personalised orders require a few additional days for embroidery. Once shipped, you'll receive tracking so you can follow your parcel all the way to your door.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy? We want you and your little one to love every piece. If something isn't quite right, you can return unworn, unwashed items with tags attached within 30 days for an exchange or refund. Personalised items are excluded unless faulty.
