What makes bamboo better for my baby? Bamboo fiber is naturally smoother and rounder than cotton, making it incredibly soft against delicate newborn skin. It's breathable, hypoallergenic, and thermo-regulating — keeping your baby warm on cool nights and comfortable on milder days. It's also naturally moisture-wicking, helping little ones stay dry and fresh for longer.

Is bamboo safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin? Yes. Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic and gentle, which makes it a wonderful choice for babies with sensitive, reactive, or eczema-prone skin. Our fabrics are made without harsh chemicals so they're kind to even the most delicate skin.

What is your fabric made of? Our pieces are crafted from a premium bamboo viscose blend, chosen for its softness, breathability, and stretch. The exact composition is listed on each product page and on the garment label.

Sizing & Fit

How do I choose the right size? Each product page includes a detailed size guide with measurements by age and weight, listed in inches and pounds. If your baby is between sizes, we recommend sizing up — bamboo has a gentle stretch and a little room means longer wear.

Will the clothes shrink after washing? When cared for as directed (cool wash, low or no heat drying), shrinkage is minimal. We pre-account for natural fiber movement in our sizing.

Personalization

Can I add my baby's name? Yes! Many of our designs are personalization-ready. You can add your baby's name with custom embroidery — simply choose a personalized style and enter the name on the product page before adding to your bag.

How long does personalization take? Personalized pieces need 7–10 business days in production before they ship, a little longer than our standard pieces.

Can personalized items be returned? Yes. Unlike most brands, we cover personalized and custom pieces under our 30-Night Sleep Trial too — if it isn't right, we refund you in full and you don't send anything back. We still recommend double-checking the spelling before you order.

Care Instructions

How do I wash Joey Bamboo pieces? Machine wash cold or warm (up to 86°F) on a gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry on low or, ideally, hang to dry to keep the fabric soft and long-lasting. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can coat the fibers and reduce breathability.

Will the colors fade? Washing in cold water and drying out of direct sunlight will keep colors looking rich and fresh for longer.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship? We ship across the United States and to 26 international destinations including Canada, the UK, Australia and most of Europe. Shipping is a flat $6.90, free on US orders over $50 and international orders over $80.

How long will my order take to arrive? Everything we make is made to order, so there's no warehouse shelf to pull from. Standard prints take 5–7 business days in production, personalized pieces 7–10, and shipping to you takes a further 10–13 days. Most orders arrive in about 2.5 to 3.5 weeks. Once shipped, you'll receive tracking so you can follow your package all the way to your door.

Why does it take longer than other brands? Because we don't hold stock. Every piece is cut, printed and embroidered after you order it — which is why we can offer prints and personalization you won't find on a shelf. We'd rather tell you that honestly upfront than surprise you afterwards.

I need it by a specific date — will it make it? Email us the date before you order and we'll tell you honestly. We'd rather lose the sale than miss the moment.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy? Every order comes with our 30-Night Sleep Trial. Wear it, wash it, sleep in it for 30 nights — if it isn't right for any reason, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund you in full.

Do I have to ship it back? No. There's no return label, no post office trip and no return shipping cost. Keep the piece, pass it to a friend, or donate it — we'd rather it end up somewhere it's loved.

What's covered? Everything — standard prints, made-to-order pieces, personalized and custom photo items, bundles and sale items.

My item arrived faulty — what do I do? We're so sorry! Please reach out with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement or refund you straight away.
