At Joey Bamboo, every piece is made to order. That means your order takes a little longer than something pulled off a warehouse shelf — and it arrives made for you, not for stock. Here is exactly what to expect, with nothing hidden in the small print.

1. How Your Order Is Made & Shipped

We do not hold inventory. Every Joey Bamboo item is cut, printed, embroidered where requested, quality-checked and packed at our production partners in Vietnam and China, then shipped directly to your door.

This is why you will find prints and personalization here that you will not find on a shelf — and it is also why we ask for a little patience. We would rather be upfront about the wait than surprise you after you have paid.

Worried it might not be right? Every order is covered by our 30-Night Sleep Trial. If it is not right, we refund you in full — and you do not need to ship anything back to us.

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship to the United States and to the following international destinations: Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

3. Carriers & Shipping Methods

We partner with trusted carriers to deliver your order safely. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking so you can follow your package all the way to your door.

4. Shipping Costs

A flat rate of $6.90 USD applies to every order, wherever you are.

Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.

4.1 Handmade Crochet Star Suits — special shipping rate

Our hand-crocheted Star Suits are made to order and shipped in protective packaging that keeps the crochet in shape, so they carry their own flat shipping rate:

This rate applies to all Crochet Star Suits, including Little Star, Little Boogeyman, Grinning Cat, Jack O'Lantern, White Chick and Spooky Stripes.

Please note: Crochet Star Suits are not eligible for free shipping. The $10.99 USD rate always applies, no matter your order total, and the value of a Star Suit does not count toward the $50 USD (United States) or $80 USD (international) free shipping thresholds.

If your order contains a Crochet Star Suit together with other Joey Bamboo items, the $10.99 USD Star Suit rate and the standard rate for the rest of your order are charged together. Your exact shipping total is always shown at checkout before you pay.

5. How Long It Takes

Because everything is made after you order, your total wait is production time plus shipping time:

Ordering for a specific date? A birthday, a holiday, a newborn photo session — email us the date before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it can make it in time. We would rather lose the sale than miss the moment.

Please also note:

• During major holiday periods and large sale events, production can take up to 2 weeks longer than the times above. We will always show the current estimate at checkout.
• During sale periods, we are unable to change shipping addresses or combine shipping on multiple orders.
• Items may be restocked or further marked down during a sale. Refunds will not be issued for purchases made before a restock or further markdown.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this to check the real-time status of your delivery at any time.

7. Taxes & Duties

The total purchase price, including any applicable sales tax, will be displayed at checkout before you pay. Shipping charges are not subject to tax.

For international orders, any import duties, customs fees or local taxes charged on arrival are set by your country's authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are not included in the amount you pay at checkout.

8. If Your Order Doesn't Arrive

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please:

1. Check the tracking information in your shipping confirmation email.

2. If tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received it, check with household members, neighbors, or your building's delivery area, and confirm the shipping address you provided was correct.

If your package still cannot be located, contact us with your order number and tracking details and we will investigate promptly and help resolve it.

9. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Orders that are delayed, lost, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout may incur a reshipping fee. Please double-check your delivery details, including your ZIP code, before placing your order.
