A loose blanket doesn't belong in a crib, and a baby who has learned to kick will not stay under one anyway. A sleep sack solves both problems: the warmth stays on the baby, and there is nothing loose in the crib to worry about at 3am.

Ours come in two weights, so you can match the room instead of guessing. 1.0 TOG for a room around 69–74°F, worn over short-sleeve pajamas. 2.5 TOG for a winter room around 61–68°F, worn over a long-sleeve set. Bamboo viscose lining means the sack breathes rather than trapping heat — the usual complaint with heavier polyester sacks.
